Our first family outing - Seminole Swimmers (and Tennis Players) on Ice.
The Verona Ice Arena donated time on their new ice rink for a dedicated, Seminole-only event, so bring your kids or grandkids, bring yourselves (yes, grown-ups can skate too), bring some cash, and get ready for a great time. The flyer is attached below, but here is the need-to-know information:
$15 per individual OR $50 per family with a pay ahead discount of $40 per family if you register by April 13th. This includes skate rental, ice time, and raffle tickets (5 tickets if individual and 20 tickets if family). Click here to register or scan QR code on this flyer.
The NHL rink is reserved for our Semionle fundraising event (we prefer you register ahead but you can also pay at the door). Seminole supporters who aren’t members are welcome too - feel free to share the sign up with your friends and family.
We are thrilled to share that we will have a Pop-up Color Bar from Kendra Scott at the event, so come prepared - Mother’s Day is right around the corner! A percentage of these sales is donated back to Seminole 2.0.

We’ll have a limited selection of face value gift cards from Raise Right available for purchase - perfect for rounding out Easter baskets, Mother’s Day or graduation gifts.

We’ve had such a great turnout at our drop-offs that Madison Verona Self Storage is graciously donating us a second unit to use because the first is already full! The last drop-off time is scheduled for Thursday, April 17th, from 5-6:30 pm.
The location is the Madison Verona Self Storage Facility (4201 Maple Grove Drive). Someone will meet you at the gate to enter the code to let your vehicle in—just let them know you're there for the Seminole drop-off.
We have units #1620 and #1621. The location of each unit is shown on this linked map, shaded in blue.
If you are hoping to bring something large (furniture or similar), please let us know ahead of time as we may not have room to store it right away. If these dates don't work for you and you'd like to get rid of your items before the next drop off, please reach out and we can try to make alternative arrangements.

Silent Auction -Online!

We are gearing up for our first Silent Auction for Seminole 2.0!
We will be using an online platform and plan to start the auction May 5 and close on May 22.
We have been working hard to obtain donations from many local businesses, but if you have items or talents to offer, please be in touch. We’ve heard from a few of you with some great options.
If you have a connection to a local business and feel comfortable asking on our behalf, that is appreciated. We can share the letter we’ve been using for our formal requests if that is helpful.
This is just a teaser that we expect some of the most popular items to be the reserved front-row parking spots for home swim meets and reserved pool deck chairs for weekend nights! Get ready to outbid your neighbors!

A big thank you to everyone who participated in the Glass Nickel Pizza fundraising night! We had a very successful night and raised $600! The owner was very impressed with the engagement and actually was called in to help because it was so busy (and apologies if anyone wasn’t able to place an order through the phone - we heard that some people were on hold for a very long time!)

We had a great turnout for the fundraising night at Hop Haus. They were very generous and donated 10% of ALL SALES that day. Thank you very much to all the members and families that came out!
Other Plans!
We’ve heard your requests for more food choices at the pool! While the layout of our existing snack bar and state licensing requirements prevent us from offering additional hot food options on-site, we’re excited to announce a new way to enjoy a meals while supporting the pool.
This summer season, we’ll be partnering with local pizza places and restaurants to host food delivery events where a portion of sales will go directly to the Seminole 26.5 Foundation. Stay tuned for details on participating restaurants and event dates,
