History and Background
The beginning of the Seminole 2.0 effort began back in 2016 when Seminole Pool hosted the All City Swim meet and the fabulous planning team was able to use the proceeds from that event to pay off the outstanding loan debt.
In 2019, the Seminole Board of Directors officially kicked off the project to expand and improve the facility. A membership survey was sent to members to gather informaiton.
In January of 2020, a town hall meeting was held to determine initial needs and a high-level design concept was developed.
Then a world-wide pandemic put the planning on hold. The focus shifted from future facility planning to addressing the immediate needs of members.
Seminole Pool and Tennis Club adapted over the next two years and revived the Seminole 2.0 effort in 2021. An official committee was formed and the planning began in earnest.
