Happy Holidays from Seminole 2.0: Member Email - December 2, 2024
Happy Holidays from the Seminole 2.0 Fundraising Committee!
In mid-September, we shared the results of our 2024 end-of-year survey, where membership voiced support for moving forward with the full scope of this project. However, we are currently facing a fundraising gap of over $2.9M (The full details of that communication can be found here.)
Despite our efforts, securing significant financial support from corporate donors and foundations has proven exceedingly difficult. This means the future of Seminole 2.0 lies in the hands of our community. Your contributions, volunteer time, and connections are what will bring Seminole 2.0 to life.
To make our new facility a reality, we are asking all members to do what they can to support this project.
The quickest way to success is via monetary donations. To break it down, that would require a donation of about $5,000 per family of four ($1,250/person).
We understand that ours is a diverse community and for some, a donation of that size isn’t possible. For others, a larger donation is feasible. Whatever your situation, we ask that you consider- or reconsider- a pledge that feels appropriate for your family. Every contribution, big or small, moves us closer to realizing our pool and tennis facility of the future.
PLEDGE NOW
Here is the link to pledge or make your tax-deductible donation: https://www.seminole26-5.org/donate. Feel free to share with family and friends! For those of you considering a larger donation, please see our recognition opportunities https://www.seminole26-5.org/recog-opps.
As we move into the new year, our committee, in partnership with the Seminole Pool Board, is actively exploring new ways to generate enthusiasm and support for this project. You’ll be hearing more about new events and opportunities, including annual corporate sponsorships, in the coming months.
We thank you for your continued support and consideration. Wishing you and your family a joyful holiday season.
With gratitude,
Seminole 2.0 Fundraising Team
