HOLIDAY FUNDRAISING, EVENTS, AND MORE! - Member Email: Monday, November 25, 2024
Greetings Seminole Pool & Tennis families,
The holiday season is upon us and we wanted to take this opportunity to fill you in on some things that have been happening behind the scenes to help with fundraising for Seminole 2.0.
We heard your requests for more opportunities to work toward our goal, and we have a new group of individuals that have been planning and brainstorming events to get all of our families involved in ways that work for them. There will be a lot more communication from us moving forward.
There are four efforts we want to share with you now:
We have started an ongoing account with Raise Right. This is a platform for purchasing 100’s of different gift cards with a percentage of each purchase coming back to Seminole 2.0. This is a great opportunity to take care of stocking stuffers, teacher gifts, secret santas, holiday cards AND to help raise funds for the pool. They have great options including Kwik Trip, Amazon, Starbucks, Shutterfly, and so many others.

This is an ongoing opportunity, so please use it year round and encourage family members to sign up as well.
Note, if you select physical gift cards, there is a small shipping fee - however, think of the gas/time saved being able to grab all your gift cards at once! You can also securely link your checking account to avoid credit card fees.
Mark your calendars for Friday May 2nd and Saturday May 3rd, 2025, for the first Seminole Pool & Tennis Rummage Sale. More to come on this in the spring, but for now, our ask is for you to please save your items as you clear out toys/clothing and ask your family and friends to do the same. All you need to do is box them up and save them - we’ll do the rest. The more items we have, the better this event will be. If there are any members that have access to a storage space for donations leading up to the event, we’d appreciate the ability to use it.
We are in the process of scheduling a variety of restaurant nights to take place over the next few months. We’ll be reaching out with updates and reminders about these as they get scheduled. If you have any connections to local eateries and want to collaborate with us, we’re open to suggestions.
We will be having a silent auction at some point in winter/spring tied to another TBD event. If you or your business has something that you’re willing to donate (event tickets, gift basket, weekend at cabin, other experience) we’re starting an ongoing collection of items for auction. (Tax letters are available by request).
We are excited to build momentum on this big endeavor and hope that you’ll be able to enjoy some fun community-building events with us this coming year.
